The first thing you will need is good content to offer your subscribers. It will not matter if you get 10,000 subscribers if your content is no good, they will just unsubscribe. You want to offer your subscribers the information they need. If you have a website about golfing, you of course would not want to send out content about how to make living on the Internet. If you do, you will only make your subscribers angry and they will unsubscribe. The best way to gain peoples trust and keep them as subscribers is to offer them quality content aimed at what they want to know about. You want to make an offer to your website visitors that they just can't refuse. One way to get your customers attention is to offer a good eCourse on the subject of your site. You can make your eCourse anywhere from five days to 30 days. Once you have sent out all of the information from the eCourse to your subscriber list, you can keep sending them emails periodically. Here is a good way to set things up with your eCourses to get the best results. First you want to set up all the days of the eCourse in your autoresponder. You can set it up to go out every day or once a week it's up to you. Let's say you are working with a 30 day eCourse and you set it up to go out every day. You would set them up in your autoresponder for each day for the first 30 days. Next, you could add something free every week or two like a great article, a new report or a free brandable eBook from one of your affiliate programs, and send them out a mailing on where to download it for free. Now if your eCourses is 30 days that takes care of the first month. The next step would want to take is to set up maybe two mailings per month the next year to add to your autoresponder. It is very easy to find or write great articles or get free brandable eBooks or reports that you can offer your subscribers. At two mailings per month you will need to find 22 products, articles or reports to load into your autoresponder. Once a month you could send out a solo ad for one of your products or affiliate products and watch the orders pour in. Now by setting it up this way you can put the sign-up form on your website and your mailing list could be run hands-free for an entire year. By simply taking the time to put together all your mailings first, you can spend your time working on getting traffic to your site all year instead of writing your content. By getting visitors to your site to sign up for your hands free opt in list, you can build a massive list during this time without the worry of when they need to go out, or where to get each weeks content. As the year progresses, if you find more great content or freebies to offer your subscribers, you can just keep adding it to the autoresponder and keep it going for years to come.
